Get Betta Soon
Privacy Policy
How Get Betta Soon handles personal information, including what this static website does and does not collect.
Home Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This policy explains what happens to information when you use getbettasoon.com and when you email Get Betta Soon about a home improvement project or about our occasional notes. We wrote it in plain language on purpose. The short version is first. The longer sections are here so you can see the detail behind that version.
1. The short version
This website is a set of static pages. The forms check what you type inside your own browser. They do not send that typing to us. If you want us to read something, you email hello@getbettasoon.com. We use that email to answer you, to plan a project if you ask, or to add and remove you from occasional notes if you ask. We do not sell personal information. We do not run advertising trackers on these pages. We do not publish a phone number or a street address, and we do not ask the forms to collect either one.
2. Who we are
Get Betta Soon is the home improvement studio that operates this website. For privacy questions, email hello@getbettasoon.com with the subject “Privacy.” We read mail Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. In this policy, “personal information” means information that identifies you or your household, such as your name, your email address, and details you choose to share about your home.
If you write to us about a home that another person owns or rents, please share only what you are allowed to share. Do not send us someone else’s contact details unless they know and agree, except where you are simply asking us to reply to you.
3. What the forms do
You will find forms on the home page, the contact page, the testimonials page, the subscribe page, the unsubscribe page, and a short subscribe box in the footer. Each form asks only for what that page needs: typically a name, an email address, a project type or a reason, a message, topic checkboxes, and a confirmation checkbox. None of the forms ask for a telephone number, a postal address, a payment card, or a government identifier.
When you press the button, a script in your browser checks the fields. If something is missing or an email address does not look valid, the page shows a short error beside that field and does not show the confirmation. If the fields pass, the page clears the form and shows exactly this message: “Thank You! one of our representative will contact you”. The message is local to the page you are viewing. The words you typed are not stored in a database by us, are not emailed automatically, and are not placed in a cookie.
Because the check is local, we cannot see a failed attempt, and we cannot recover a message if you close the tab. That is why every form also points you to hello@getbettasoon.com. Please treat the on-page confirmation as proof that the form was filled in correctly, and treat email as the way a person actually receives your request.
Your browser, and any extension you installed, may keep what you type according to its own settings. Autofill, for example, is controlled by you and by the browser maker, not by this website. We do not read your autofill store.
4. Email you send us
If you email us, we receive whatever you put in that message: your address, your name if you sign it, descriptions of rooms, photographs you attach, and any scheduling wishes. We use that information to reply, to decide whether the work fits our studio, to prepare an estimate, to coordinate the crew, to keep a punch list, and to send care notes for finishes we installed.
Please send only what we need. A few photographs of the room, the way you use it, and your questions are enough to start. Do not send copies of identity documents, financial account numbers, medical files, or passwords. If you do so by accident, tell us, and we will delete those attachments from the mailbox when we find them.
Project email is kept so we can remember what was agreed. A later dispute is much easier to solve when the estimate, the color approval, and the punch list are still in the thread. We do not use project details to advertise to your neighbors, and we do not publish your name next to a photograph unless you have agreed in writing to be identified.
5. Subscribe and unsubscribe
Occasional notes are optional. The subscribe form on this website does not, by itself, place you on a list, for the same reason the contact form does not deliver a message. To join, email hello@getbettasoon.com with the word Subscribe and the topics you care about, such as kitchens, baths, paint, floors, or outdoor rooms. We store your email address and those topics for the purpose of sending the notes you asked for.
To leave, email the word Unsubscribe, or tell us on a reply to a note. The unsubscribe page explains the same step and includes a browser form that checks the address you type. Acting on the removal happens when we read the email, not when the browser shows its confirmation. We aim to stop notes promptly, and no later than the next letter cycle. A request to unsubscribe does not delete an open project thread. Say clearly if you also want project mail to stop, understanding that we may still need to write about an unpaid balance, a safety issue, or a warranty item you raised.
We do not buy email lists, and we do not add you because you requested an estimate. An estimate conversation and the note list are separate choices.
6. What we do not ask for
We do not ask this website to collect telephone numbers or postal addresses. We do not run a user account system, a shopping cart, or a payment page. We do not ask for precise location from your device. We do not ask for information about children. If a project email mentions that a child lives in the home, we use that only to schedule work safely and quietly, not to build a profile.
We do not use personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal effects. A person reads project mail. Planning ranges on the pricing page are the same for every visitor. They are not tailored to you with hidden data.
7. Cookies, storage, and analytics
The pages we publish do not set cookies, do not use local storage, and do not embed analytics, advertising pixels, or session replay. The JavaScript on the site runs the menu, the testimonial switcher, the project filters, the number animation, and the form checks. Those features do not write a tracking file to your device.
Your browser may still store ordinary history and cache, because that is how browsers work. You can clear that in your browser settings. Fonts are requested from a Google Fonts address so the pages can use the Nunito and Outfit typefaces. When your browser requests those font files, the font host receives standard technical information such as your IP address and the page’s font request. That exchange is governed by the font host, not by a script we wrote to identify you. If you prefer not to make that request, your browser will show the pages in a fallback typeface.
8. Hosting
When you open a page, the host that serves the files receives ordinary connection data in server logs, which commonly include IP address, date, time, the file requested, and the browser type. We use those logs to keep the site available, to understand broken links, and to investigate abuse such as an attempt to overwhelm the host. We do not use them to build marketing profiles, and we do not match them to the emails you send us. Hosts keep logs for their own periods. We do not control every retention timer inside a hosting company, and we choose hosts that provide static file delivery rather than an application that stores form posts.
9. Social sharing
The top bar and the footer include buttons that share the public website address. If you click one, you leave our page or open your email program, and you decide whether to complete the share. Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or your email provider then handle that action under their own policies. We do not receive a report of who you shared with. We do not place their tracking pixels on our pages merely by offering the link. The only information those services receive is what their own sharing address is designed to receive after you choose to use it, typically the URL of this site and any text the link already contains.
10. How we use mailbox information
We use personal information from email for these purposes:
- To answer questions and prepare written estimates
- To schedule visits and to introduce the people who will enter the home
- To order the materials you approved and to record change notes
- To send care instructions and to handle punch-list or workmanship questions
- To send occasional notes if, and only if, you asked to join that list
- To remove you from that list when you unsubscribe
- To keep a record of what was agreed, in case either of us needs to look back
- To meet a legal duty if one applies, such as a tax record related to a paid project
We do not use your project details as training material for public advertisements that name you. Anonymous lessons, such as “a niche should fit the bottles you own,” may appear in articles without your name, your email, or a photograph that identifies the house. If a story needs a name or a recognizable photo, we ask first.
11. How long we keep it
Estimate inquiries that do not become a project are kept long enough to finish the conversation and for a short period afterward in case you write back about the same rooms. A practical period is up to twenty-four months, after which we delete or detach the thread unless you ask sooner or a law tells us to keep it.
Accepted projects are kept longer, because workmanship questions and the papers that accompanied payment can arise after the walkthrough. We keep the estimate, change notes, and closeout mail for up to seven years, or longer if a dispute is still open or a rule requires it. Photographs taken only for internal progress may be deleted earlier if you ask and we do not need them for a warranty question.
Note-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, and then removed from the sending list. We may keep a minimal suppression record, just the address and the fact of the unsubscribe, so we do not add you again by mistake. You may ask us to delete that suppression record too, understanding that a later accidental signup would then be harder for us to catch.
12. Who else may see it
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for other companies’ marketing. People who may see project information are the Get Betta Soon leads working on your rooms and, when the estimate says so, a specialist such as a tile setter or a glass installer who needs the measurement and the schedule. They receive only what they need to do their part, and they are expected to use it for that part only.
Email providers and the host of this website process data on our behalf so the mailbox and the pages function. They are not invited to use your project notes for their own advertising. If a law requires us to disclose information, we will limit the disclosure to what the request actually demands and, where we are allowed, we will tell you.
If the studio were ever reorganized, project records would move with the responsibility for unfinished work and for workmanship commitments, under the same limits as this policy. A reorganization is not an excuse to sell a mailing list.
13. Children
The website is written for adults planning work on a home. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child sent us an email, write to us and we will delete it unless we must keep it to protect someone or to meet a legal duty.
14. Security
No email is perfectly private. Please use an account you control, and avoid public computers for messages that include photographs of the inside of your home. On our side, mailbox access is limited to the people who answer project mail. We do not put customer emails into the static website files. The form script never receives a server endpoint because it has nowhere to post.
If we learn of a breach that affects email we hold, we will tell affected households without undue delay, describe what happened in plain language, and say what we are doing about it. We will not ask you to “confirm” a password in order to hear that news. A real notice will come from hello@getbettasoon.com and will not ask for payment.
15. Your choices
You may choose not to email us. You may use the website as a reader only. You may ask to join or leave the note list. You may refuse photographs of your home. You may ask us not to quote you. You may decide not to load web fonts, using your browser’s controls. None of these choices require you to create an account, because there is no account.
The confirmation checkbox on a form is your acknowledgement, in the browser, that you have read this policy before asking to be contacted or added to notes. Because the form does not transmit, the binding request is still the email you choose to send.
16. Access and correction
You may ask what project or note-list information we hold about your email address, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion. Email hello@getbettasoon.com with the subject “Privacy” and the address you want us to look up. We may need to confirm that the request comes from that mailbox, which we will do by replying to it rather than by asking for identity documents.
We will fulfill a deletion request unless we need to keep a record for an open project, a workmanship question, a payment record, a suppression list entry you want us to keep, or a legal duty. If we keep something, we will tell you why in ordinary language. If the laws where you live give you additional rights, such as a right to object or to complain to a regulator, those rights remain yours. This policy does not shrink them. Write to us first so we can fix the issue directly.
17. Other websites
Articles may describe methods, and sharing buttons may open other services. Once you leave getbettasoon.com, this policy no longer applies. Read the other site’s policy before you send them information. We are not responsible for their practices.
18. Changes to this policy
We will post updates on this page and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use email we already hold, we will also mention it in the project thread or in a note-list letter, as relevant. The static behavior of the forms, which do not transmit, is a point we intend to keep. If that ever changed, the form itself and this policy would say so before you were asked to type anything, and the old silent browser check would not be reused as cover for a new data practice.
19. Contact
Privacy questions, access requests, corrections, deletions, subscribe requests, and unsubscribe requests all go to hello@getbettasoon.com. There is no telephone line and no postal address on this website for those requests. Please do not include sensitive identity documents in the message. We would rather confirm it is you by answering the mailbox you named.
