Our Story
Better rooms, without losing the house you know
Get Betta Soon started when a few finishers kept being asked back, not for a new trend, but because they left homes calmer than they found them. Fifteen years on, the work is broader. We remodel kitchens, reshape baths, paint inside and out, lay floors, build trim and benches, replace tired windows, and refresh decks. The habit is the same: write down the job, then do that job.
We are not a showroom with a rotating staff. Maya keeps the plan. Andre, Priya, and Luis lead the craft that plan depends on. Crews are introduced by name. If a specialist joins for tile or glass, you hear about it before they arrive.
Homes stay occupied during most of our projects. That changes how we work. Dust doors go up. The one bathroom you need is scheduled, not guessed. Children, guests, and pets are part of the plan, written beside the paint colors.
How A Project Moves

Plan
You receive a written scope, a planning range, and a list of choices still open. Samples are viewed in the house.
Build
Work follows the schedule you agreed. Daily paths stay clear. Changes are written before they are built.
Walk
We review the room in daylight, note touch-ups, and finish them. You get care notes for the new surfaces.

Standards we do not bargain away
Plain language
Scopes use room names and material names. If a sentence needs a glossary, we rewrite it.
Visible quality
Joints, edges, and hardware are checked at standing distance and at arm's length.
Honest limits
If a wall, a floor, or a budget cannot do what you hope, we say so before demolition.
Care of the house
Floors, furniture, and plantings are protected as if we had to live with a scratch.
The kind of work we take
We are at our best on projects with a defined edge: a kitchen, a bath, a floor that runs through three rooms, a paint story for a whole floor, a window package, a deck that needs to be safe and pleasant again. Whole-home sequences are welcome when they are phased so you always have a place to cook, wash, and sleep.
We decline work that needs a different trade as the main event, and we will say so. Structural engineering, major electrical service changes, and roof structure are coordinated only when a qualified specialist leads that portion. Our site explains the finishes and remodeling we actually perform. It does not pretend to be a permit office or an emergency repair line.
